Dooyoung was founded in 1996 and was initially started as a recycling company that collects waste wires. The purpose was to separate the waste into wire sheathing and copper to sell individually.

In 1998, after obtaining approval for comprehensive recycling processing, we have further developed our company to collect expired and defective wires to sell as PVC or PE.

We moved our business operations from Incheon to our current location in 2005. Additionally, we announced that we are striving to work towards a business that addresses social and environmental issues beyond corporate profits.

To that end, Dooyoung has appointed an environmental manager with duties to constantly improve and update our products and equipment to fit the current trends and changes of the world.

The company has established a technical research center as the first among our competitors, and is in the process of continually conducting research to develop chemical recycling methods that go beyond traditional mechanical recycling.

Dooyoung will strive for Upcycling beyond Recycling. Our goal is to create a company where client satisfaction goes hand in hand with the efforts of preserving the global environment.

Dooyoung established the first technology lab in the recycling industry in 2016 and is dedicated to related research by hiring Ph.D. holders as researchers.

To improve the properties of existing products, Dooyoung Technology Research Institute strives to improve product development and work process by utilizing and applying quantum mechanics, quantum chemistry, and high molecular chemistry, which explain the properties of atoms and molecules.

Production products from 2018 and onwards are introducing new porcesses to produce products that are more improved than existing regenerative PVC and PE.
